# Delta Document Portal
Delta is an on-chain options layer which utilizes a combination of liquidity standards to reduce premiums and offer competitive options prices. It uses novel systems such as a unique vesting schedule to generate a new form of liquidity.
This portal links to key resources on Delta to understand the protocol and help its users navigate through the interface.

# Delta Vesting Schedule
Delta has a vesting mechanism built into its token that is triggered on transfer. This vesting period is based on a block number schedule. When a transfer occurs, 10% of Delta is unlocked while 90% remains locked. The locked Delta is used by the system to help create a new partially locked type of liquidity called Open Vesting Liquidity (OVL).
The main principles of Delta’s Vesting schedule are the following:
* Delta transfers, start a 14 Day vesting schedule
* Delta transferred during an active vesting schedule cancels that vesting schedule
* Locked Delta from interrupted vesting schedules get distributed to the Deep Farming Vault
To make sure you have a good understanding on how Delta and its vesting schedule works, we visualized the processes that happen during a transfer of the token.
### Initial purchase of Delta:
Each Delta token houses the information of a vesting schedule. When Delta is transferred this vesting schedule is activated. In this example the user purchases Delta from the Uniswap Bonding Curve. This transfer activates the internal vesting schedule for the purchased tokens.
### Delta’s Vesting Schedule activates
The vesting schedule is based on a block number schedule which is roughly 14 days long. When a user purchases Delta, 10% of the total token balance is sent to the user’s wallet, while the remaining 90% is locked in the Delta Vesting Contract. The locked Delta is unlocked linearly over the next 14 days.
Throughout this period the wallet will receive more and more Delta tokens until the initial purchase is available in the User’s wallet.
**Example:**
> *User A buys 100 Delta on Uniswap. The wallet receives 10 Delta while the rest of the purchase is locked. During the next 14 days his wallet will receive the remaining tokens which unlock linearly. On the second day, the Delta inside User A’s wallet has grown from 10 Delta to 16 Delta. This process will continue until all the initially purchased tokens are received by the wallet.*\
> *On day 14 User A’s wallet holds 100 Delta.*
### Canceling the Vesting Schedule
A token transfer cancels the vesting schedule and the remaining locked tokens get distributed to the Vault as staking rewards.
**Example:**
> *On day 7, User A decides to sell their 50 Delta tokens while the vesting schedule is still active. This token transfer cancels the vesting schedule which sends the locked Delta to the Deep Farming Vault.*
The Deep Farming Vault collects all locked Delta from vesting schedule interruptions. Users are incentivized to stake rLP and Delta tokens in the vault by receiving Delta as rewards.
## OVL in the ecosystem
The Open Vesting Liquidity (OVL), which is created by Delta’s vesting schedule and secured by the Deep Farming Vault is an effective tool to expand the size of our liquidity.
This liquidity can be directed wherever it’s needed. During a time of uncertainty, it can assist in minimizing premiums and overall stabilizing the system.
# Delta Token

### Delta in the Deep Farming Vault
The vault has different states for Delta, each state affects the token in a unique way.
* mature Delta
* Immature Delta
* Staked Delta
* Permanently Locked Delta
* Claimable Delta
**Mature Delta:** \
The wallet section displays the amount of mature Delta in the users wallet. This depends on the vesting schedule and early transfer can result in the loss of immature Delta.
**Immature Delta:**\
After Delta has been purchased a 14 day vesting schedule is activated. Immature Delta is the amount of tokens which are currently vesting. In case of a premature transfer these tokens will be lost.
**Staked Delta:**\
The total amount of Delta which is currently staked in the Deep Farming Vault, earning yield from vesting schedule interruptions.
#### **Permanently Locked Delta:**
Delta which is permanently locked in the Deep Farming Vault, will earn yield forever. It is used to maintain Multipliers and increase the overall yield generation while reducing the circulating supply of the token. You can permanently lock Delta in the Deep Farming Vault to maintain your [Booster](/delta-ecosystem/deep-farming-vault#booster).
**Claimable Delta:**\
Delta rewards are displayed as claimable Delta. These rewards can be used to increase/maintain your [Booster](/delta-ecosystem/deep-farming-vault#booster) or be withdrawn using a withdrawal contract.
#### Staking Delta in the Deep Farming Vault
Users can stake Delta in the Deep Farming Vault to receive yield from Delta vesting schedule interruptions. Staking Delta has additional Multipliers which can be activated by permanently locking Delta in the Deep Farming Vault. Read more about it [here](/guides/staking-delta).
# rLP token
The Delta ecosystem started with a Limited Staking Window (LSW). Users were able to contribute Ethereum to the LSW which was used to create liquidity for the Ethereum / Delta Pair on Uniswap. rLP tokens were given in return to the participants.
rLP tokens have a special attribute of periodically rebasing its underlying liquidity and therefore increasing their mint price exponentially. To create maximum value for our early community members, a special launching event was designed called Limited Staking Window. Participants staked Ethereum in the launch contract, in return they receive rLP tokens. After the LSW closes, liquidity rebasing will significantly increase the minting price (\~150%), making participation in the LSW much more cost efficient, compared to minting rLP tokens post launch.
### Liquidity Rebasing
Liquidity rebasing will continue to increase the minting price of rLP tokens, by 10% each day. As a result, the price of minting new rLP tokens becomes increasingly expensive to the point where they are unobtainable. The advantage of our liquidity rebasing is that the total supply of rLP is limited by time. This will generate advantageous pricing for Limited Staking Window participants and avoid diluting initial contributors.

### rLP tokens in the Deep Farming Vault
rLP tokens are used in the Delta ecosystem to provide liquidity for trading and allow its holders to earn yield by staking them in the Deep Farming Vault. rLP tokens receive a fixed booster when staked in the [Deep Farming Vault](/delta-ecosystem/deep-farming-vault).
# Deep Farming Vault
The Deep Farming Vault (DFV) is used to generate yield on staked Delta and rLP tokens. By staking these tokens in the vault, users receive yield rewards in Ethereum and Delta. To maximize your yield, generated from the Deep Farming Vault, maintaining your multipliers and farming power is recommended.
### Staking in the Deep Farming Vault
Users can stake the following tokens in the Deep Farming Vault:
* rLP
* Delta
### Farming Power
Each user in the Deep Farming Vault is allocated farming power. This value dictates the amount of yield received.

### **Booster**
The Deep Farming Vault has a booster for staked Delta. This booster varies from 1x to maximum 10x and requires weekly maintenance by depositing 10% of the principle using a **Burn Deposit** or **Compound Burn**.
To start Delta farming with a 10x Booster, users have to activate the "**Burn Deposit**" checkbox. This will permanently lock 50% of the deposit in the Deep Farming Vault and start the 10x Booster. For weekly maintenance 10% of the principle needs to be deposited.
#### **Weekly Booster Maintenance**
If the booster is not maintained, it will decrease each week by 3 points. There is a one week grace period after each drop which allows the user to get back to its original booster value +1. Only when 10% of the principle is deposited within the grace period and using compound burn or burn deposit.
#### **Burn Deposit:**
A Burn deposit allows its user to start staking Delta with a 10x Booster. Using this mechanism, [permanently locks](/guides/staking-delta#permanently-locked-delta) 50% of the deposit in the Deep Farming Vault the rest of the deposit is staked as usual.
#### **Compound Deposit:**
The compound deposit mechanism allows its users to add Delta staking rewards directly to the Deep Farming Vault, where they can produce yield, rather than creating a withdrawal contract and waiting for the rewards to mature over a 12 month period. It can be used to significantly increase the users staked Delta Farming Power.
#### Compound Burn:
The compound burn feature allows its user to maintain or upgrade their booster by using Delta Staking rewards. It requires a minimum of 10% of the principle in Delta rewards. If the user does not have enough Delta rewards to cover the 10%, the transaction will revert.
Compound Burn can be performed once every 7 days.
### Yield Rewards:
The yield generated from the Deep Farming Vault comes from vesting schedule interruptions and is paid out in Delta and Ethereum. 20% of all yield is distributed in Ethereum while the remaining 80% is distributed as Delta:

## Deep Farming Vault Withdrawal Process:
There are two types of withdrawals to the Deep Farming Vault:
1. **Staked Token Withdrawals**
2. **Reward Withdrawals**
### Staked Token Withdrawals:
**rLP token:** \
You can unstake your rLP tokens without any restrictions\
\
**Delta token:** \
When you unstake Delta from the Deep Farming Vault, they are placed in a withdrawal contract. You have to wait 14 days before you can withdraw your principle.
### **Reward Withdrawals:**
#### Ethereum Staking Rewards:
Vault deposits, rLP withdrawals and the "UNSTAKE ALL" button, automatically claims Ethereum rewards, allowing the user to save gas by using the aforementioned actions to claim.
#### Delta Staking Rewards:
When claiming Delta rewards, a withdrawal contract is created which starts a one year vesting cycle for the staking rewards. Boosters for staked Delta are lost when the Delta withdrawal process is started.
Delta is continuously maturing in that contract throughout the year. The user has the option to prematurely claim the Delta rewards, in this case, the immature Delta will be lost (distributed back to the Deep Farming Vault).
### Withdrawal Contract:
When unstaking Delta or claiming Delta rewards, a withdrawal contract is created which starts a one year vesting cycle for the staking rewards and a 14 days maturing cycle for the staked Delta.
Upon finalizing the withdrawal, the user receives:
* 5% of the total Rewards
* mature Delta
You may withdraw your principle after 14 days.
# Mint rLP
## How to mint rLP tokens
You can mint new rLP tokens by using our custom router at delta.financial. Follow these steps to successfully obtain rLP tokens.

Minting rLP tokens might not be the most cost efficient method. Depending on the size of purchase, a secondary market can be cheaper. Always verify that you are purchasing the correct token.

### Connect your wallet
Go to delta.financial and connect your wallet by clicking on "Connect Wallet" in the top right corner.
### Navigate to the Deep Farming Vault
On the main page click on **Vaults** to open the Deep Farming Vault page. Navigate to the stake and mint section of the vault and press the "**Mint rLP**" button.
### Mint new rLP
Enter the amoun of Ethereum you want to use to mint new rLP tokens. An estimated amount of rLP is shown underneath the input area. If you wish to immediately stake your rLP tokens in the vault you can select the "**STAKE**" checkbox before pressing "**MINT**"
Carefully read the confirmation text and press "OK" if you confirm.
After the transaction is confirmed, you will receive your rLP tokens in your wallet, or if you checked the "STAKE" checkbox, you can see the your staked rLP in the rLP Token section of the Deep Farming Vault.
# Buying/Trading Delta
## How to buy/trade Delta
Delta can be purchased with Ethereum. First, navigate to delta.financial and connect your wallet.
### Connect your wallet
Go to delta.financial and connect your wallet by clicking on "Connect Wallet" in the top right corner.
### Navigate to Delta Vesting Schedule
On the main page scroll down to the Delta Vesting Schedule section. Click on the Trade Delta button to be taken to the Sushiswap exchange. You can purchase Delta with Ethereum on Sushiswap. After your purchase, do not be alarmed that your wallet received 10% of the original purchase. This is due to [Delta's Vesting Schedule](/delta-ecosystem/vesting-schedule).
### Delta Vesting Schedule
Our interface allows you track your Total Delta, the amount of Delta matured, your immature Delta, and each transaction of Delta separately. Using our platform is the best way to keep track of your Delta vesting schedule.
# Staking rLP
## How to stake rLP tokens
You can stake rLP tokens in the Deep Farming Vault by following this guide.
### Connect your wallet
Go to delta.financial and connect your wallet by clicking on "Connect Wallet" in the top right corner.
### Navigate to the Deep Farming Vault
On the main page click on **Vaults** to open the Deep Farming Vault page. Navigate to the stake and mint section of the vault and press the "**Stake rLP**" button. Enter the amount of rLP you would like to stake or click "MAX". Then click the Stake button and confirm your transaction. After a few minutes the rLP Token section will display your staked rLP tokens.

# Staking Delta
## How to stake Delta tokens
You can stake Delta tokens in the Deep Farming Vault by following this guide.
### Connect your Wallet
Go to [delta.financial](https://delta.financial/) and connect your wallet by clicking on "Connect Wallet" in the top right corner and choosing between MetaMask or WalletConnect.
### Navigate to the Deep Farming Vault

On the main page click on **Vaults** to open the Deep Farming Vault page.
Navigate to the Vault actions section of the vault making sure that "**Stake DELTA**" has been selected. Enter the amount of Delta you would like to stake or click "**MAX**". Depending on your type of deposit you can check or uncheck the "**Burn Deposit"** option. Make sure to read about [Burn Deposits](/delta-ecosystem/deep-farming-vault#burn-deposit) before selecting this option. \
Afterwards click the "**Stake"** button and confirm your transaction.

Give it a few minutes until the Balances section reflects your newly staked tokens.
# Claim Referral Bonus
## How to claim your Referral Bonus from the LSW
The Limited Staking Window launched with a Referral Bonus Program which pays out participants in Ethereum and rLP. If you have participated in the Referral Bonus Program you can claim your rewards using the follow guides.

### Claim your Bonus
After connecting your wallet, you can claim your bonus by clicking on the "CLAIM BONUS" button. Your bonuses will be transferred to your wallet after the transaction has been confirmed.
## **rLP Referral Bonus Rewards**
The rLP bonus rewards from the LSW referral program can be claimed on our site.
If you have referral rLP tokens and you did not contribute to the LSW from that account, you have to first register your address using the Fixer contract. Otherwise you can skip to the [following step](/guides/claim-referral-bonus#claimbonusrlp).
### Connect Wallet to rLP Fixer Contract on Etherscan
Navigate to , and press the "Connect to Web3" button. \

*This contract allows you to register the referral address which you used during the Limited Staking Window. This is a necessary step to claim your rLP rewards on our site.*
Connect your wallet using MetaMask or WalletConnect and press OK on the pop window.
### Register your address
Click on the **1. fixAddress** tab to expand it. Enter the Ethereum address which holds your rLP rewards from the Referral Program in the field below. Press the "**Write**" button and confirm your transaction.
Wait for the transaction to confirm.
### Claim & Stake your rLP tokens
After your transaction was confirmed you can navigate to [delta.financial](https://delta.financial/) and connect your wallet. Click on "**Claim & Stake**" or "**Claim**" and confirm the transaction, to receive your tokens from the Referral Bonus Program.
Congratulations, you have claimed your rLP tokens from the Referral Bonus rewards!
# Claim rLP from LSW
## How to claim your rLP tokens from the LSW
You can claim your rLP tokens from the LSW after the countdown delta.financial ends.
After the countdown on delta.financial ends, participants of the Limited Staking Event (LSW) will be able to claim their rLP tokens and Referral rewards.
Follow the steps below.
### Connect your wallet

Go to [delta.financial](https://delta.financial/) and click on the black "Connect Wallet" button.
Choose Metamask or WalletConnect to complete the process.
### Claim your rLP tokens
After connecting your wallet, you have two options to claim your rLP tokens:
**CLAIM & STAKE:** \
Allows you to claim your rLP tokens and automatically stake them in the Deep Farming Vault, this is the fastest way to stake your tokens and earn yield.
**CLAIM:**\
Choosing the CLAIM will deposit your rLP into your wallet. You can transfer these tokens to another address or stake them in the Deep Farming Vault at a later time.
# Claim Rewards
## Deep Farming Vault Withdrawal Process:
There are two types of withdrawals to the Deep Farming Vault. These withdrawals can be initiated in the Withdrawal Section of the site. You can unstake your rLP and Delta as well as claim your Ethereum and Delta staking rewards. Unstaking Delta and claiming Delta staking rewards will create a [Withdrawal Contract](/delta-ecosystem/deep-farming-vault#withdrawal-contract).

Follow the steps below to start the withdrawal process:
### Connect your wallet
Go to [delta.financial](https://delta.financial) and connect your wallet by clicking on "Connect Wallet" in the top right corner. Choose Metamask or WalletConnect to complete the process.
### Navigate to the Withdrawal Section
On the main page click on **Vaults** to open the Deep Farming Vault page. Navigate to the DEPOSIT / WITHDRAWAL section of the vault and press on **WITHDRAWAL.**
If you press "CLAIM" you will start a withdrawal contract for your claimable Delta rewards.
*Starting a Withdrawal contract resets the Delta Booster to 1x.*
### Withdrawal Contract
The Delta Withdrawal Contracts section visualizes the maturing process of your Delta rewards.
You can withdraw your principle (staked Delta) after a two week vesting period.
Finalizing Withdrawal will send the mature Delta to your wallet while the immature Delta will be send to the Deep Farming Vault to be distributed as yield.
### UNSTAKE ALL
If you press **unstake all**, you will automatically claim ETH rewards, send DELTA rewards to a withdrawal contract and unstake rLP and Delta. Completely leaving the ecosystem.
